Since the beginning of October NTEX has taken over the responsibility for Kährs’ domestic shipments in Sweden. The expanded collaboration means that NTEX will handle approx. 24,000 shipments, or 3,200 tons, for Kährs annually.
Kährs is part of the Kährs Group, an innovative world leader in wood flooring and PVC-free resilient flooring. Kährs has cooperated with NTEX since 2011, as NTEX transport goods to several of their export countries.
– Our cooperation is extensive. It started with transports from England. It has since been expanded to our markets in Finland, Denmark, Norway, Poland, the Czech Republic, Ireland and Turkey, among others. NTEX works in a more flexible and customer-oriented way than I feel some of their competitors do, Mikael Johansson, Global Logistics Manager, Kährs.
Kährs’ products are distributed to more than 70 countries and in Sweden they are a market leader.
– The challenge is that our goods are long, wide and heavy. Sweden is also our largest market and NTEX was ready to take over our entire domestic traffic. We follow up very carefully with transport claims and it is already now significantly lower than before. If deviations occur, we quickly receive information from NTEX through an action plan and good communication. There are also some key people in the organization who make sure that it works so well for us, says Mikael.
For some time, NTEX has distributed Kährs’ goods in Stockholm but now that the partnership expands NTEX will handle all of Kährs' domestic transports.
– We are pleased and honoured over the confidence to operate Kährs’ domestic shipments as of October 1st. The new assignment is proof that we deliver on Kährs’ expectations regarding quality and service, says Tobias Rindevall, Sales Director at NTEX.
